The colors in the Fall of ‘22 were the best in recent memory and I visited the mountains frequently to enjoy them. “Evening Glow” is one of my favorite photographs, captured on Halloween night 2018. Red Spruce Fog
This was the most photogenic hike on the east coast I may have ever been on. Taken on Red Spruce Knob, near Snowshoe Resort and Marlinton, West Virginia, it is part of the Highland Scenic Highway, a similar concept to the Blue Ridge Parkway with its scenic views and trail access. I highly recommend this area for a weekend trip along with stopping by the Green Bank Telescope.
Fall's Final Light
